Welcome to Chalet Alpaga, a large and charming chalet located in a quiet setting in the heart of Morillon village, in the Grand Massif ski area — the 4th largest ski area in the French Alps, linking Flaine, Les Carroz, Samoëns, Sixt and Morillon.
With its 8 bedrooms, 8 private shower rooms, spacious living areas, private Finnish sauna and authentic Bonzini café-style table football, the chalet is ideal for bringing together several families or a group of friends in a comfortable and welcoming setting, for up to 15 guests maximum.
The chalet offers around 300 m² of total usable space, including approximately 230 m² of living area and two double garages of 35 m² each.
A very practical location — everything can be done on foot
The chalet enjoys a particularly convenient location for car-free holidays:
- Village centre and shops: around 150 m
- Tourist office: around 100 m
- Morillon gondola lift: around 400 m
- Lac Bleu leisure lake: around 500 m
The gondola takes you up to Morillon 1100 in just a few minutes, where you will find the ski school meeting point, the Piou-Piou children’s ski area and the main slopes of the ski area.
A blue run also comes down towards the village, around 50 m from the chalet.
Morillon is an authentic and charming Haute-Savoie village, lively all year round, family-friendly and enjoyable in every season. Thanks to the proximity of the village centre, shops, gondola lift and Lac Bleu, you can make the most of your stay while greatly limiting the need to use your cars.
Interior comfort and facilities
Inside, the atmosphere is warm and alpine, with stone, brushed heat-treated wood, two wood-burning stove fireplaces, coordinated furniture, quality bedding, matching curtains and carefully designed lighting.

All these facilities are included and reserved exclusively for guests staying at the chalet.
Parking and outdoor areas
The chalet has two double garages with electric doors, providing 4 covered parking spaces, as well as several private parking spaces in the courtyard.
In total, the private parking area can accommodate around 6 to 7 cars.
In summer, you can also enjoy a south-facing garden seating area for 15 guests and a 58 cm Weber charcoal barbecue.
Winter: easy skiing in the Grand Massif
The chalet is located in the village of Morillon, within the Grand Massif ski area.
The gondola lift, around 400 m away on foot, provides quick access to Morillon 1100 and the main slopes.
Guests staying at the chalet benefit from discounts on ski rental at Twinner, located around 200 m from the chalet and close to the gondola lift.
Summer: Lac Bleu and the Giffre Valley
In summer, the chalet is ideally located 500 m from the Lac Bleu leisure lake, with many family activities:

- Beds made on arrival

Final cleaning is compulsory and charged at €250.
Tourist tax is payable in addition. Its amount is calculated according to the rental price; it is currently 5% of the rental amount, with children exempt.
Home meal delivery by a local caterer is possible.
Length of stay
During the winter and summer seasons, the chalet is rented by the week only. Weekend requests are therefore not accepted during these periods.
In spring and autumn, weekends and short stays of 2 nights minimum are possible.
Indicative rate for short stays:
- €1,400 for 2 nights
- €250 per additional night
For short stays and weekends, departures can usually be arranged until 5:00 pm, subject to availability, as there is generally no new group arriving on the same day.
House rules
To preserve the comfort, peace and compliance of the rental, the maximum capacity is strictly limited to 15 guests.
Parties, events causing noise disturbance and any exceeding of the guest capacity are not accepted.
Unfortunately, dogs and cats are not allowed, as several family members are allergic to animal hair. Please do not request exceptions for pets.
